# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Medical-Surgical – Tennessee

Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three full 12-hour shifts per week with 3–4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period; self-scheduling available

Highlights:

• 30-bed cardiac medical-surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Free charge nurse available to assist; unit secretary on day shift; 3 PCTs per shift
• Meditech documentation system with GE telemetry and portable WOWs
• Cardiac drip management including titratable drips (Cardizem, Heparin) and non-titratable drips (Dopamine, Dobutamine, Amiodarone)

• Floating rotation with other travel nurses; 48-hour guarantee available

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Telemetry certification required
• Proficient in EKG and cardiac rhythm identification
• Medical-surgical experience with cardiac/telemetry knowledge
• Familiarity with cardiac medications and drips
• Meditech experience preferred
