Office Specialist

The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Office Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position operates multiple-line telephone switchboard console and routes calls appropriately. Greets all visitors in a kind, courteous, and professional manner. Perform cash handling activities, various accounts payable tasks, and other clerical duties as required.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors upon arrival and direct them to the appropriate department or staff members.
• Answer and route all incoming phone calls.
• Distribute incoming mail, create outgoing shipping labels, and coordinate carrier pickup.
• Reconcile cash drawer daily, deposit checks, and create bank cash deposit.
• Monitor and re-order office supplies as needed.
• Scan documents into electronic document storage systems.
• Process accounts payable invoices in a paperless workflow environment.
• Perform general typing and other duties as

Qualifications:

• Should possess a High School diploma.
• The successful candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of the office environment and general accounting experience is preferred.
