Role Description The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation in a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, OH. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and organizing legal documents, assisting with pleadings and motions, and conducting factual and legal research to support case strategy. The role involves reviewing and summarizing discovery materials, managing case files, maintaining litigation calendars, and coordinating with clients, courts, and third parties. The Litigation Paralegal will help prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, and trial, including assembling exhibits, witness lists, and other litigation materials. This position requires consistent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment. Qualifications Ability to prepare and manage legal documents, including Legal Document Preparation and Document Review. Experience conducting Legal Research to support case development and attorney strategy. Skill in drafting and organizing litigation filings, including Pleadings and Motions. Paralegal certificate or associate/bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field preferred. Prior experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department is beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in legal writing and document formatting. High level of organization, accuracy, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines. Proficiency with legal practice management software, e-filing systems, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
