Job Description As a Security Officer Computer Based Patrol in Everett, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support badge and access-control activities, use computer or tablet systems, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You\'ll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, operational areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate. Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
