Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Audio Engineer (Speech / TTS Audio Specialist) – Brazilian Portuguese contractor (pay $50/hr). Contribute to frontier AI research and evaluation work. Ideal candidates: Edit and process Brazilian Portuguese voice recordings for TTS and speech AI systems; Perform audio cleanup including silence trimming, breath reduction, de-clicking, de-essing, and noise reduction; Run QA checks for clipping, distortion, background noise, artifacts, and loudness consistency; Evaluate Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation accuracy, naturalness, and fluency for ML training data; Ensure batches meet technical specs for speech ML pipelines while maintaining throughput and consistency.
