Department: Transport Project Team
Location: Englewood, N.J.
Status: Full-Time
Shift: 8 hour morning
Hours: 6am-2pm
- Safely transport patients via weelchair, stretcher, or bed throughout the hospital.
- Ensure patient, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality during transport.
- Respond promptly to transport request using dispatch systems.
- Maintain schedules and minimize wait times for patients and department.
- Operate stretcher, weelchairs, beds, and oxygen tanks safely.
- Clean and sanitize transport equipment after each use.
- Communicate clearly with nursing staff, dispatcher, and other department.
- Follow all infection control protocols.
- Ability to walk long distances, push/pull heavy equipment, and assist with patient movement.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude at all times.
- High School graduate or GED required
Minimum rate: $16.50
