What You Will Do Assists with the compilation and analysis of financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts; assists with the timely and accurate completion of required standard journal entries to facilitate monthly closing. Develop pertinent accounting and related data to prepare reports and statements. Assist in the coordination with the Forecasting and planning team. Assists with the preparation of account reconciliations, analysis, accruals, and journal entries for senior management monthly and external auditor annually. Processes general ledger entries and assists with the preparation of account analysis. Analyze and evaluate accounting problems and take appropriate action. Works with internal and external customers to resolve accounting discrepancies; delivers AAA Five Diamond Service Standards to management and all other business contacts. Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures and internal policies; identifies opportunities for procedural enhancement; submits detailed recommendations regarding improvements of or enhancements to Club accounting systems and practices; alerts management when policies or procedures may inadvertently create opportunities for fraud. Assists other Financial Accountants with reconciliation issues as needed. Learn to perform a wide variety of accounting work. Other duties may be assigned.
