Pay Grade: 404 Duty Days: 239 FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Purpose: Manages the daily operations of substitute services and assisting in the execution of strategic staffing initiatives and external partnerships. Ensures effective substitute workforce coverage, high service levels, and operational alignment with district talent priorities through data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement. This role bridges strategy and execution by translating district staffing priorities into efficient, scalable operational practices.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of substitute staffing operations and workforce coordination. Knowledge of vendor coordination and service delivery models. Knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements related to staffing. Skill in analyzing staffing data and identifying trends to support decision-making. Skill in managing operational processes and balancing multiple priorities. Skill in problem-solving and resolving staffing challenges effectively. Skill in communication and stakeholder engagement across campuses and departments. Ability to collaborate across teams and support operational outcomes. Ability to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Ability to use HR systems, data tools, and dashboards effectively. Ability to demonstrate organization, time management, and accuracy in high-volume work. Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.

Travel Requirements

Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Physical & Mental Demands, Work Hazards Tools/Equipment Used

Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Certification/License: Human Resources related certification (SHRM, PHR, etc.) preferred. Experience: 7 years of experience in staffing operations, HR, or Talent Management required. 5 years of professional-level support for leadership, and supervisory or team lead experience preferred: Onboarding, certification, compliance, or employee processing. Staffing coordination or workforce planning. Vendor or partner coordination. Public education or large organization environment.
