Director of Publisher Development

Nova is seeking a Director of Publisher Development to serve as a strategic, client-facing partner responsible for driving revenue growth across a targeted portfolio of digital media owners and streaming companies. This role is ideal for a seasoned digital media sales professional with deep sell-side relationships and a strong understanding of programmatic and omnichannel media. The ideal candidate brings 7–10+ years of experience in digital media sales or platform roles and thrives in a consultative, growth-oriented environment. Details Key Responsibilities Partner with Publisher teams including Sales, Branded Content and Video to drive adoption of Nova's products Enable decision-makers to drive better client outcomes using Nova’s creative tools Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across teams, geographies, functions, use cases, and applications Serve as the internal advocate for client needs, acting as the “voice of the customer” Lead and negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements Own and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for top-tier clients, including content creation and presentation Lead Monthly Account Performance Reviews in partnership with Customer Success Managers Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and revenue reporting within Nova’s CRM Qualifications Experience: 7+ years of experience in advertising technology, digital media sales, or agency environments (10+ years preferred) Strong working knowledge of programmatic media and the broader advertising ecosystem Proven ability to build relationships and uncover growth opportunities within the publishing community Demonstrated success integrating products into client technology stacks or workflows in durable, “sticky” ways Clear strategies for remaining top-of-mind and relevant in highly competitive, vendor-dense publisher environments Excellent communication and presentation skills with a bias toward proactive problem solving Track record of driving customer success, revenue growth, and long-term client relationships through credibility, efficiency, and domain expertise Work From Anywhere: Fully remote with no physical offices Unplug: Minimum of four weeks of paid vacation per year About Nova For over 12 years, Nova has provided creative advertising technology to hundreds of media companies worldwide.
