Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Project Manager

Job Description

We’re currently seeking an experienced Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Analyst / Project Manager to support the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in managing and optimizing telecom expenses across mobile, landline, voice, and data services.

Location: 2 Broadway, New York, NY

\n

Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Analyze and audit wireless and wired telecom usage, charges, and carrier invoices
    • \n
  • Identify billing discrepancies, overcharges, and cost-saving opportunities
    • \n
  • Reconcile approximately 30,000 mobile devices in ServiceNow against wireless carrier records
    • \n
  • Analyze zero-usage devices and telecom spending
    • \n
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and vendor payments
    • \n
  • Analyze large financial and operational datasets
    • \n
  • Develop reports, presentations, and Power BI dashboards for leadership
    • \n
  • Support procurement requirements, contract modifications, and financial reporting
    • \n

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Experience with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and telecom expense/invoice auditing
    • \n
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and spend tracking
    • \n
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • \n
  • Experience working with large datasets and financial reports
    • \n
  • Experience with ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, Power BI, and advanced Excel
    • \n
  • BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
    • \n
  • Strong communication, organizational, and quantitative skills
    • \n
