Job Overview and Qualifications

In the role of a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements and state-specific standards. You will work collaboratively with healthcare providers and the care team to deliver individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and favorable clinical outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating the patient’s condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Carrying out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Administering prescribed medications, observing the patient for therapeutic responses, and taking appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
• Delivering outstanding care by promptly addressing patient requests, anticipating their needs, and resolving issues proactively.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terms.

Qualifications Required:

• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
• This is a full-time night position
• Preference for candidates with at least 1 year of acute care experience
