About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Power Origination with a strong commercial acumen to spearhead the origination and marketing of power across a diverse portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy, leading a team, and engaging in the full spectrum of commercial activities, including the negotiation of long-term offtake agreements with various counterparties. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in the U.S. power or renewable energy sector, particularly in structuring and negotiating PPAs and related commercial products. The Head of Origination will also be tasked with optimizing the commercial positions of the portfolio, balancing short-term and long-term strategies, and adapting to evolving market conditions and customer needs. Applicants for the Head of Power Origination position at the company should possess 15-25 years' of senior-level experience in the industry, with a focus on commercial and portfolio management. A deep understanding of wind, solar, and battery storage technologies, as well as market dynamics across major RTOs, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in utility and commercial offtake, including experience with large-load and data-center customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead and develop commercial teams, maintain rigorous opportunity pipelines, and build trusted relationships with market participants. Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills are a must, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment.
