This position will support the accounting department with day-to-day accounts payable functions, invoice processing, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts payable or accounting support experience who can quickly step into a busy office environment.ResponsibilitiesProcess and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficientlyReview invoices for accuracy and proper documentationMatch invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentationAssist with preparing and processing vendor paymentsMaintain accurate accounts payable records and filesPerform account and invoice reconciliationsResearch and resolve invoice discrepanciesCommunicate with vendors regarding invoices and payment questionsEnter and maintain financial information within accounting systemsAssist the accounting department with additional administrative and clerical responsibilities as neededQualificationsPrevious Accounts Payable experience requiredStrong data entry and computer skillsExperience working with accounting or ERP softwareUnderstanding of invoices, purchase orders, and payment processingStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to handle confidential financial information professionallyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesScheduleMonday–Friday | Day ShiftThis is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately three months, making it a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to immediately contribute to an established accounting team.Pay Details: $24.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
