TRAVEL POSITION: The Industrial Maintenance Robotics and Electrical technician plays a critical role within the Maintenance and Service Division, focusing on new equipment introductions, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading robotic and electrical systems essential to industrial operations. This position involves travel to multiple sites, including possible international locations for training, and offers growth opportunities in management and project leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair robotics and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibrate equipment regularly
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions and control system issues
- Install and upgrade robotic and electrical systems in industrial settings
- Manage control systems and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Document technical procedures and maintenance activities accurately
- Provide training and development for team members and users
- Support system upgrades and installations across multiple sites
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in industrial maintenance robotics and electrical
- Proficient in PLC programming and robotics troubleshooting
- Skilled in electrical wiring and blueprint reading
- Ability to travel approximately 75%
- Ability to maintain a Passport for International Travel.
- Strong preventive maintenance and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology
- Electrical trade license
- Robotics certification
- NOTE: Pay adjusts proportionately with Education, license and certification qualifications. Travel Pay/Per Deim in addition to base hourly rate.
