Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Truss Builder to join a manufacturing team in Albertville, MN. This position is responsible for assembling roof and floor trusses according to blueprints, production schedules, and quality standards. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work, can safely operate power tools and equipment, and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Previous construction, carpentry, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and assemble roof trusses and floor trusses using blueprints and engineered drawings
• Perform framing, measuring, cutting, and assembly of wood components
• Operate power tools and equipment (saws, nail guns, drills, pneumatic tools)
• Read and interpret construction plans and production specs
• Ensure all products meet quality control standards
• Assist with material handling, staging, and general labor tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in construction, carpentry, framing, or manufacturing preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Ability to read blueprints or learn quickly
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, standing, repetitive work)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Team player with a positive attitude

Employment Type & Compensation

• Type of Employment: This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
• Compensation: $23.00 per hour
• Application Period: This position will remain open until filled

Work Schedule

• 1st Shift | Monday – Friday
