The Customer Service Representative will support both customers and operations by proactively addressing inquiries, coordinating service needs, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure day-to-day processes run efficiently. A successful Customer Service Representative is committed to service, efficiency, and safety. Duties/Responsibilities: Interact with customers by phone, email, or in person to provide support and product/service information, serving as a liaison between customers and the company Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services Field customer questions and complaints; elevate issues beyond the representative's knowledge to the appropriate specialist or staff member Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer problems and concerns Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and comments Support daily operations through dispatch coordination and scheduling of drivers and technicians, while maintaining accurate records, reporting, and internal systems Assist with administrative and compliance-related tasks to support operational efficiency and business needs Assist customers with filling propane cylinders at the bottle dock station Perform other related duties as assigned QualificationsEducation and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 3 years of customer service experience Experience in high-volume phone call settings highly preferred Experience in the propane industry preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Service-oriented, with the ability to resolve customer grievances effectively Proficient with computers and able to learn software as needed Proficient in the current Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn additional software tools Physical Requirements: The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
