Transactional Attorney for AI Model Evaluation

Help shape how advanced AI understands and evaluates commercial contracts by applying hands-on in-house transactional experience. In this part-time contract role you will draft, review, and redline contract language, participate in simulated negotiations, and provide precise, expert feedback that improves AI performance in technology transaction workflows. You will work remotely with product and research teams to turn legal judgment into objective evaluation criteria used to train and test state-of-the-art models.

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, focusing on technology transactions.
• Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios, providing detailed, actionable feedback to improve accuracy and legal reasoning.
• Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to measure AI performance on contract tasks with rigor and consistency.
• Contribute to and refine contract redlining workflows used to train and evaluate AI models.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, author clear guidelines, and develop best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.

Required

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions, including negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Proven ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.

Preferred

• Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
• Experience at a corporate law firm in M&A or fund formation for private equity firms.
