Assembly Tech - Department Floater Looking for a career with room to grow and great benefits? Assembly Techs are needed for a busy client on the Northside of Jacksonville. Schedule: Monday thru Thurs 4pm to 2:30 am (with mandatory overtime) Job Duties of the Assembly Tech: Inspect products at the end of the production process. Work quickly to meet production goals. Package and move boxes. Read and follow instructions in English. Load machines, lifting up to 25 pounds Be willing to be cross-trained on different assembly roles in the department to cover different roles as needed. Skills and Qualifications of the Assembly Tech: Must have at least 3 year of Manufacturing experience. Must speak and understand English. Spanish knowledge is a plus. Must be able to read a tape measure. Must have a strong knowledge of math and fractions. Must be a team player. Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills. Must have reliable transportation. This is a drug-free workplace. All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check.
