Job Summary Solution Marketers at SHI simplify complex concepts, craft human and succinct stories, highlight customer outcomes, and ground their work in a deep understanding of our services, products, and capabilities. They drive awareness, engagement, and utilization of SHI’s cybersecurity and data center solutions for both existing customers and new prospects. Role Description Go‑to‑Market Leadership Translate executive goals (pipeline, growth, churn reduction) into performance‑focused GTM plans. Develop marketing strategies that address business decision makers and technical audiences such as analysts, architects, CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs. Partner with Product Management to understand product strategy, distill key differentiation, and create core product positioning and messaging. Collaborate closely with sales and enablement teams to articulate features, benefits, and competitive differentiators; build robust playbooks, competitive intelligence, and impactful enablement programs. Roadmap product and service priorities across launches, new releases, content, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. Positioning and Messaging Create differentiated security and data center messaging for sales and customers that conveys how technology drives business value. Differentiate SHI in the market by emphasizing unique value propositions and business outcomes, aligning with the voice of the customer. Market Analysis Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to keep a pulse on the landscape and inform product, GTM, and marketing teams. Own win/loss analysis, translating insights into actionable recommendations. Act as the voice of the customer to inform product development, solution packaging, and marketing strategies. Sales Enablement, Product Launches, and Adoption Develop succinct and effective sales training materials and FAQs to help non‑technical sales understand our portfolio. Craft high‑impact enablement assets: messaging frameworks, case studies, ROI stories, demo flows, and battlecards. Support advocacy programs with case studies and customer success stories. Content and Demand Generation Create and execute campaigns that generate leads, MQLs, and pipeline. Develop content for IT and procurement buyers to guide them through the purchase journey: product demos, customer success stories, webinars, social media, and website copy. Thought Leadership and Analyst Relations Support security and data center thought leadership programs by creating white papers, research studies, and reports. Build relationships with analysts and influencers to enhance SHI’s market position. Performance Metrics Define and track KPIs to measure marketing initiative success, continuously optimizing based on data and feedback. Provide updates to senior leadership on strategic initiatives and plans. Behaviors and Competencies Analytical Thinking: synthesize complex data, identify patterns, present findings clearly. Skill Level Requirements Excellent copywriting—Intermediate. Audience‑adapted communication—Intermediate. Crafting compelling messages—Intermediate. High‑quality digital content creation—Intermediate. Proficiency in Microsoft 365—Intermediate. Strong stakeholder management—Intermediate. Excellent time management and organization—Intermediate. High‑volume multitasking—Intermediate. Ownership of assigned workload—Intermediate. Effective collaboration across all levels of a large, distributed organization—Intermediate. Other Requirements Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required. 5+ years of product, services, or solutions marketing experience—preferably in high‑growth B2B SaaS, hardware, or IT services. Experience in B2B marketing across enterprise and SMB segments. Strategic thinking with comprehensive GTM planning. Technical literacy (especially in AI) to simplify complex concepts for varied audiences. Track record of executing successful product launches that drive awareness and pipeline. Strong messaging and positioning for technology products and services. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable crafting and presenting content. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and allocate effort appropriately. Critical thinking and decision‑making to navigate obstacles and resolve issues. Metrics‑driven focus on incremental results. Curiosity and empathy for customers and their challenges. Position may require up to 25% travel. Preferred Skills Outstanding organizational skills to balance multiple projects with tight deadlines. Collaborative, hands‑on execution mindset. Positive attitude that inspires optimism and continuous learning. The estimated annual pay range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000, which includes a base salary plus bonus. Compensation is based on job‑related knowledge, skill, experience, and market location, and will vary accordingly. Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401(k), and flexible spending.
