Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for same-day surgical procedures .
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition before, during, and after surgery .
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams in ensuring smooth operations .
• Provide post-operative care and discharge instructions to patients and families.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as needed .
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation .
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and surgical safety protocols .
• Travel to various healthcare facilities as required .

Qualifications

• Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in perioperative or same-day surgery nursing .
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, patient assessment, and time management abilities .
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred .
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments .
