Full Charge Bookkeeper

Stable, privately owned manufacturing company seeking a Full Charge Bookkeepe r to oversee the company's day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for the full accounting cycle while working directly with ownership and supervising one Accounting Assistant If you enjoy taking ownership, wearing multiple hats, and being the go-to accounting person, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and growing organization Why Join Us Join a stable, privately owned manufacturing company with a long-standing reputation and loyal customer base Serve as the lead accounting professiona l with ownership of the company's accounting function Work directly with ownership and have a voice in financial reporting, process improvements, and day-to-day business decisions Enjoy a broad, hands-on role where you'll see the direct impact of your work Be part of a collaborative, team-oriented culture with long-tenured employees and supportive leadership Opportunity to improve processes, streamline reporting, and help shape the future of the accounting department Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle accounting function Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with month-end and year-end close Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable Process and/or oversee payroll Maintain inventory accounting records and assist with inventory reconciliations Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for ownership Coordinate with the outside CPA on year-end audits and tax preparation Ensure accounting records are accurate and compliant with GAAP Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls Supervise and support one Accounting Assistant Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other special projects as needed Qualification 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with responsibility for the full accounting cycle Experience preparing financial statements and completing month-end close Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience is strongly preferred Experience working directly with ownership or senior leadership is a plus Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a hands-on environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
