• Secure paperwork for new hires and onboard the new team members in to multiple systems.
\n
• Administer E-Verify process.
\n
• Process termination paperwork.
\n
• Calculate and prepare final checks, severance payments, publication bonus and referral bonus payments.
\n
• Record employee changes: rate of pay, work location, position, title, etc.
\n
• Create and processes weekly timesheet posting. Oversee QA/QC for timesheet posting data by running audits and reconciling information between two data sources.
\n
• Import and audit benefit deduction information on a biweekly basis. Provide reconciliation data to benefits team post payroll.
\n
• Research and enter prevailing wage rate schedules for government contracts; ensure accurate Health & Welfare pay.
\n
• Compile certified payroll statements to satisfy client requirements.
\n
• Research and prepare labor adjustments.
\n
• Process employment verifications.
\n
• Enter garnishment and other withholding orders in payroll system.
\n
• Oversee document management, assuring accurate, consistent and complete electronic employment records.
\n
• Design and generate ad hoc reports, as requested.
\n
• Act as first point of contact for payroll issues, concerns or inquiries.
\n
• Consistently apply company policy and government regulations.
\n
• Can-do positive attitude and be an ambassador for the payroll team.
\n
• The scope of the responsibilities are not limited to what is noted and includes additional responsibilities as related to payroll.
