Account Manager - Employee Benefits

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Lakewood, NJ . This role is essential in managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, supporting clients and employees, and enhancing employee satisfaction through effective benefits administration. Responsibilities Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits. Conduct employee orientation sessions to explain benefits offerings. Manage HRIS systems for accurate tracking of employee benefits data. Assist employees with inquiries related to their benefits and resolve issues promptly. Analyze data related to benefits usage and trends to inform decision-making. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts and improve service delivery. Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) , including gathering information, coordinating responses, reviewing proposals, and supporting the RFP process. Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure effective benefits administration and service delivery. Requirements Proven experience as a Benefits Administrator, Account Manager, or in a similar role in HR or employee benefits. Strong knowledge of HRIS systems; experience with Dayforce, PeopleSoft, or UltiPro preferred. Experience with employee benefits platforms such as Employee Navigator and/or EPIC . Experience with RFPs and the proposal process is preferred. Excellent data analysis skills to interpret benefits-related information effectively. Ability to manage vendor relationships. Outstanding communication skills for effective interaction with employees, clients, and management. Experience in employee relations is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
