We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, hands‑on person to join our small, yet very busy team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, handle clerical tasks, referrals, correspondence with our billing company, insurance verification, out‑of‑pocket cost estimates and other duties as needed. Job Type: Full Time Title: Medical Office Referral and Insurance Coordinator Location: 2221 Health Drive, Suite 1400, Wyoming, Michigan 49519 Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:00am - 5:00pm Unpaid Lunch: 12:00pm - 1:00pm Tuesday: 9:00am - 6:30pm Unpaid Lunch: 2:00pm - 3:00pm Pay: $20.00 per hour Responsibilities Processing payments Scheduling appointments Answering the phone Contacting rereferrals Verifying insurance Maintaining patient records Processing incoming and outgoing faxes Sending appointment reminder text Managing in‑office texting app Scanning documentation into patient chart Preparing out‑of‑pocket cost estimates Creating encounters in EMR system, EPIC Front office coverage when needed Greeting/Checking in patients Main point of correspondence with billing company Correspondence with patients regarding bills, payments, insurance Qualifications Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Epic EHR Software: 1 year (Required) Experience: Insurance verification: 1 year (Required) Experience: Medical Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location In person Schedule 10 hour shift No weekends Healthcare Setting Clinic Private practice Medical Specialties Allergy & Immunology #J-18808-Ljbffr
