Finance Manager OpportunityCassia, a nonprofit senior living organization, is hiring a Finance Manager to join our Home Office team! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting and finance professional to contribute to a mission-driven organization dedicated to serving older adults. You'll support the financial operations of multiple Cassia communities while working alongside a collaborative team and helping ensure accurate financial reporting.As our Finance Manager, you will oversee a variety of accounting and financial functions that support the day-to-day operations of Cassia. Your responsibilities will include managing financial transactions, preparing and reviewing financial reports, supporting audits and budgets, maintaining internal controls, and assisting with month-end and year-end accounting activities. To be successful, you must be detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible positionWage Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / hour depending on experienceLocation: 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN, 55439. This position is onsite at the Home Office in Edina.Finance Manager Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions.Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports and supporting schedules.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.Maintain financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with accounting standards and internal controls.Collaborate with operational leaders and finance staff to support financial decision-making.Support audits, tax reporting, and other financial compliance activities.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.Perform additional tasks as requested.Finance Manager Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience; or Associate degree in Accounting with at least 4 years of relevant accounting experience.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create and maintain financial spreadsheets, schedules, and analyses.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise sound professional judgment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.Cassia Benefits:Competitive Pay with experience-based raisesTuition Assistance & Student Loan Forgiveness (site-specific)Paid Time Off (PTO) & 403(b)/401(k) with Employer MatchComprehensive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance) for Full-Time EmployeesFlexibilityEmployee Assistance Program with free confidential counseling/coaching for self and family membersEmployee Discount ProgramPet InsuranceAbout Us: Cassia is a nonprofit, mission-driven senior care organization with over 200 years of experience.
