Assistant Construction Project Manager - Sacramento

Job Description AECOM Hunt has an exciting high‑rise hospitality project in Northern California! Core and shell experience and hotel/hospitality experience a plus! Duties Assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks. Executes construction assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training. Employee handles situations independently. Works with BIM team and uses modelling software. Works with Superintendents to address project questions/issues. Assists with and monitors change orders. Assists with construction compliance, site safety and financial reporting. Works with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up‑to‑date and accurate. Attends meetings and reports on project tasks as needed. Additional Information This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future. Qualifications Minimum Requirements BA/BS in Engineering/Construction Project Management or related curriculum and 2 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications Strong experience in core and shell construction. Experience in high rise construction and structural construction. Experience in ground‑up commercial construction. Proficiency with construction documentation such as RFI, RFP, proposals, change order management, etc. Proficiency in construction software such as CMiC, Procore, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook). Experience working on construction projects in excess of 300MM. Hospitality, casino, hotel, high rise construction experience strongly preferred. Compensation: USD 35.82 - USD 66.26 per hour.
