Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Hospitalist

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Conduct patient follow-ups and monitor treatment progress
• Educate patients on health management and prevention strategies
• Participate in patient care team meetings and case discussions
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide necessary interventions

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field
• Current NP or PA license in the state
• Experience in a hospitalist setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workflows
• Level II Trauma Center

Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts

Daily Volume: 3-15 patients

Patient Population: Adult & geriatric

Responsibilities: Admissions and rounding

3 admin support staff onsite

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified

Paid travel and expenses
