Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist south of Austin, TX! This on-site position supports students in a dynamic school environment, with two openings available to cover the school year from August 6th through May 28th. With a standard 37.5-hour workweek and a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students, you’ll play a key role in student success and communication growth.

Preference will be given to candidates who express interest in working with a specific age group—elementary, middle, or high school—ensuring a tailored match to your skills and comfort. You’ll be assigned to work at one to two sites, creating an opportunity for community connection while maintaining a balanced workload.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Prior school-based SLP experience desired, but not required
• Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills

Key responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language intervention and therapy for a diverse caseload
• Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and reporting based on school and district guidelines
