Quality Assurance LeadThe lead is responsible for leading the daily operations of the team ensuring staffing, productivity, workload, and workflow needs are effectively managed. The role provides employee leadership, coaching, and support, coordinates cross-functional operational needs, and oversees key processes to ensure items are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lead daily operations, including workload planning, employee assignments, workflow prioritization, and overall department executionMonitor employee attendance, tardiness, timecards, staffing levels, and daily warehouse headcount to maintain accurate staffing records and coverageCommunicate employee schedules based on workload and business needs, adjusting staffing plans as necessary to support productivity and minimize overtimeCoordinate with warehouse leadership and partner departments to address staffing needs, operational priorities, and cross-functional support requirementsMonitor departmental communications and manage operational requests, including item transfers, pulls, discrepancies, and other department-related issues, escalating concerns when appropriateOversee the liquidation, donation, and discard process, ensuring items are properly reviewed, documented, sorted, and routed according to company guidelinesSupport employee development and performance through regular coaching, feedback, monthly 1:1 meetings, 30/60/90-day evaluations, and annual performance reviewsCoordinate donation pickups, including scheduling with charitable organizations and ensuring donations and required documentation are properly collectedMaintain accurate employee and operational documentation, including attendance records, performance evaluations, 1:1 documentation, timecard corrections, and disposition recordsCollaborate cross-functionally with warehouse teams and leadership to resolve operational needs and support department productivity and service levelsAssist in other areas in department as neededShift available: Mon - Fri (6am-2:30pm)To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skillsEffective leadership, communication, and employee coaching abilitiesAbility to prioritize workload, manage staffing, and adjust to changing business needsStrong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to work collaboratively across departments and resolve operational issuesAbility to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive and professional work environmentAbility to take ownership of assigned tasks and meet responsibilities without constant supervisionKnowledge of apparel construction and fabrication and various fashion categoriesAbility to work successfully with any personality typeAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees in English and SpanishAbility to read/write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English and SpanishMinimum qualifications:3-4 years minimum experience working in a Production/QA/QC environment or lead position preferredMicrosoft Office Suite requiredTechnical fashion knowledge preferredUnderstand and communicate effectively in English and SpanishA reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $21 to $23 per hr.
