Function in the Job

Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Job Function

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Compiles financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts documenting business transactions.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual financial / non-financial reporting and supporting schedules and system updates.
• Monthly review/reconciliation of G/L accounts, responsible for clean-up of said reconciliations.
• Maintains fixed assets and all related reporting
• Maintain leases and all related reporting.
• Reconciles bank statements while monitoring and recording daily cash positions with parent company.
• Interface with other departments and provide support.
• Assists the auditors, internal and external, as required.

Required Skills

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a solid understanding of accounting principles and finance. Good time management and people skills are basic requirements. Must be detail oriented and organized in work. Must be able to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3 to 5 years' experience

Language skills

College level command of the English language is required to effectively communicate with other managerial and executive level personnel. The individual must possess strong written and oral communication skills.

Mathematical Skills

The individual must have an above average understanding of mathematics and statistics.

Work Environment

Hybrid - home/remote and office type atmosphere. Smoke Free.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and telephone. Specific vision abilities require close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally you may need to move file boxes.

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to work under stressful conditions. Ability to occasionally work odd hours. Ability to work independently and remotely. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
