Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Allegiance Behavioral Health, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems therapy.
• Assessing the needs of clients through thorough diagnostic interviews and comprehensive evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.
• Employing evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their mental health and personal development goals, while tracking their progress through documented evidence.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights and strategies for client improvement.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of client progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse population comprising individuals, couples, and families facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. We emphasize a culturally competent approach that respects and acknowledges the unique backgrounds and experiences of our clients, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and understood.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon is mandatory.
• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, with a strong foundation in family systems theory.
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing tailored treatment plans that address the needs of clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with individuals from various backgrounds.
• A commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical practice in mental health.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes related to mental health and well-being.
• Background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits
