Financial Management Specialist

Summary The ideal candidate excels in liaising with key stakeholders, tracking and updating reports, conducting financial analysis and budgeting, preparing detailed materials, and providing executive support with minimal supervision. The purpose of this position is to serve Appropriation Liaison Staff and provide guidance to senior management to Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). In this position, you will work as the primary liaison to report, tracking and maintaining the status of congregational and the agency reports. You will collaborate interpreting and assessing the impact of new and revised Congressional legislation on budget formulation and execution. Typical assignments include:
- Communicating complex programmatic or budgetary information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Applying knowledge of the concepts, prinnciples, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing.
- Interpreting and assessing the impact of new and revised Congressional legislation on the formulation and execution of budgets.
- Projecting and analyzing the potential effects of budgetary actions on program viability and attainment of program objectives.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.
