About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent experience required License: State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - MS/Tele experience - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Peripheral Line Care/Management - Non-invasive airway management Description: Fast-Track Offer Opportunity available for candidates who can start ASAP. Candidates must have no requested time off and meet all clinical requirements for expedited offers without an interview. Floating is required based on facility needs. A care team of an RN, LPN, and PCA can have a maximum of 8 patients. Weekend work is required every other weekend and every other holiday. All requested time off must be included in the initial submittal. Any requests submitted after the offer will not be approved. The traveler will be responsible for coordinating coverage. First-time travelers may be accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on experience. Travel pairs may be submitted for consideration despite past scheduling issues. Paragon training will be provided for the EMR system. Former permanent employees cannot be submitted for traveler positions. Previous travelers may be eligible to return as long as they are in good standing. Call-off policy allows for 3 shifts per 13-week assignment. Medical and religious exemptions are allowed for the COVID-19 and flu vaccines.
