Shifts: 36 hrs guaranteed, EOW & EOH, No blocked scheduling

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Step-Down RN for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role requires a professional with 2+ years of recent Step-Down experience. Candidates will be working in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on patients with complex cardiac and respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN

Provide post-heart cath care and manage TR bands
Monitor post-vascular procedure recovery, including vital signs and neurovascular checks
Administer and monitor cardiac drips and emergency medications
Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and perform 12-lead EKG/ECG
Manage BiPAP/CPAP therapy and assist with chest tube procedures
Perform IV start and maintenance, including PICC line management
Implement infection prevention and isolation precautions

Requirements of the Step-Down RN

• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of recent Step-Down experience
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry and bi-level positive airway pressure management
• Experienced in blood product administration and procedural sedation
• Strong skills in IV and vascular management
