Unit Details

• Department: PCU Pulmonary/Oncology (31 beds)
• Patient Ratios: 2–5:1
• Population: Pulmonary (vascular, trach/vent, cardiac drips, intermediate care) + Oncology (head/neck cancer)

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN
• Experience: 1–2 years acute care minimum; 2+ years PCU preferred
• Certifications: BLS (preferred at hire, required within 3 months), ACLS (required)
• Cross-training: Available from Med/Surg or acute care

Schedule

• Shift: Nights only, 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
• Differentials: Nights +15%, Evening +10%, Weekend +10%

Compensation

• Annual Salary: $79,000 – $118,560
• Sign-On Bonus: $30,000 (paid at 6mo, 1yr, 2yr, 3yr)
