Join us and our 18,000 colleagues now and together we will make the world a brighter place.This position is responsible to Implement and maintain defined IT solutions within the SAP S/4HANA Transportation management domain and ensure continuous improvement of solutions and their application.The role involves collaborating with global and regional stakeholder teams to ensure seamless implementation, testing, and support of transportation management processes for the Americas regionMajor Tasks and ResponsibilitiesImplement and support SAP S/4HANA TM processes aligned with business requirementsCoordinate with global and regional teams to align transportation process standards with regional requirementsSupport and maintain integration between SAP TM and external 3PL logistics providersLead and coordinate testing activities with business stakeholders — identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolutionServe as IT contact for TM business stakeholders across all project phasesSupport Cutover and post Go-Live stabilization activitiesBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration/management or a related field and 4+ years of related experience; OR a master’s degree in information technology, business administration/management with 2+ years of related experienceMinimum 3 years of hands-on SAP Transportation Management implementation and support experience in S/4HANA or ECC environmentsExperience with transportation charge management, carrier selection, and tendering processesExperience with BRF+ configuration for transportation management rules and decision logicExperience with freight planning across multiple transportation modes — road, rail, ocean, and airPreferred QualificationsSAP SD / Order to Cash (OTC) knowledge and TM-SD integration experienceSAP ABAP knowledge — ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot ABAP codeExperience with chemical or process industry transportation processesExperience with temperature-sensitive shipment handling and refer logistics within SAP TMExperience with Latin America logistics operations or Mexico-specific transportation interface integrationsKnowledge of international shipping, customs, and trade compliance requirements within SAP TMKnowledge and SkillsStrong understanding of end-to-end transportation management processes — transportation planning, freight order management, execution, tracking, freight settlement, and freight cost calculationProficient in SAP TM configuration managementProven experience supporting full project lifecycle — design, build, testing, go-live, and stabilizationExperience coordinating and executing structured testing activities (integration testing, UAT, regression) with business stakeholdersFamiliarity with SAP Fiori apps for TM process navigation and execution in S/4HANAStrong analytical and problem-solving skills — ability to translate business requirements into system solutionsExcellent communication skills across all organizational levelsSelf-motivated; ability to work independently under tight project timelines in a global matrix environmentProven experience integrating SAP TM with external 3PL systems and logistics providersKnowledge of SAP integration technologies — IDocs, RFC, BAPI, API, SFTPExperience with EDI processes and message types relevant to transportation (shipment notifications, freight order updates, delivery confirmations)Experience with interface monitoring and troubleshooting in a multi-system landscapeWork ArrangementThis position is based in Pittsburgh, PA on a hybrid schedule, with a minimum of 3 days per week in-office requiredOccasional travel to regional production sites may be requiredYOUR APPLICATIONAre you as curious, courageous and colorful as we are?
