Join us!Position SummarySeeking an experienced production services specialist to join our Equities Derivatives & Swaps production services team providing front line technical support to end user requests and issues. Responsibilities include managing application platform monitoring and support, root cause analysis and preventative actions to ensure stability & resiliency across all services. Will lead incident & problem management activities, onboarding applications and effectively communicate to stakeholders for front office trading applications as part of a global production services team.The successful candidate will be one who also embraces innovation and can learn the business and technical components of an application and work with peers to ensure stable release deployments and platform stability. This role will be part of a team in New York, with a wider global team providing production services across core trading & technology locations.Candidate should have good knowledge of the Global Markets technology ecosystem, strong technical skills (e.g. SPLUNK and Dynatrace) as well as Global Markets Equities domain understanding. Able to conduct independent research as well as collaborate with bank SMEs.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical and operational support for Equities Derivatives & Swaps production traders, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standardsAct as a primary point of contact for user Queries, Triaging, troubleshooting issues, and escalating or resolving high-priority incidentsWork closely with Traders, Middle Office users, Sales and technology teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements aligned with business objectivesImplement process improvements, maintain quality controls, and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirementsProduce regular reports on system stability, incident trends, and team performance to support transparency and continuous improvementUtilize SRE principles and solutions to drive stability & resiliency improvementsPrimary SkillLinux, SQL, Python, Java, messaging platformsExperience with monitoring tools; e.g. Dynatrace, Splunk, ITRS GeneosITIL (Remedy/ServiceNow), JiraSecondary SkillAutosys, Ansible, Grafana, Grid computing, SRE PracticesTertiary SkillTibco, MQ, Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Cloud, IBM OpenShiftRequired Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience in Application support/development, ensuring stability for critical Trading platforms in a global, team-oriented environment.Experience with distributed application platforms: Windows, UNIX, LINUX, SQL.Ability to lead triage and solve production outage situations under tight deadlines, including root cause and problem resolution follow-ups.Experienced on monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk, DynatraceKnowledge of Equities asset class and related trade processing flows.
