Job Title: ET Communications Lead & Editor-in-Chief

W2 Only

Location: Dearborn Michigan Onsite (4 days per week)

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field

Experience Required: 8+ years in corporate communications, editorial management, or internal channels within large matrixed organizations

Core Responsibilities

Editorial Leadership & Channel Governance
- Serve as Editor-in-Chief for Enterprise Technology (ET) channels (newsletters, MS Teams, Viva Engage), setting publishing cadences and narrative quality.
- Define and maintain ET brand standards, visual guidelines, and audience-first storytelling models aligned with corporate strategy.
- Own the lifecycle and adoption of AI communication tools (such as channel-recommendation AI assistants).
Analytics, Measurement & Strategy
- Pull, analyze, and report readership and engagement metrics (SharePoint metrics, Viva Engage, email analytics).
- Deliver executive-level reports detailing audience trends, channel performance, and strategic recommendations.
- Streamline channel usage across decentralized teams to eliminate noise and optimize publishing workflows.

Key Requirements & Technical Skills

Core Competencies: Internal Communications, Editorial Governance, Strategic Planning, Employee Engagement.
Technical Stack: Advanced Microsoft 365 Suite (SharePoint, Viva Engage, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Copilot).
AI & Automation: Experience testing, prompt refining, and driving user adoption of AI-enabled workflow tools.
Soft Skills: High autonomy, executive presentation skills, cross-functional influence without direct reports.
