For over 75 years, companies and individuals have looked to Kapnick as a trusted advisor, providing solutions that protect their operations and employees.This Account Manager position works with small businesses in our employee benefits division. They are the primary point of contact in managing the day-to-day service requirements of our clients. The Account Manager's essential functions include:Promptly identify and resolve all client issues (administrative, billing, claims) in a timely mannerMaintain client account information in Kapnick’s agency management system in accordance with established proceduresConsult with Client Executive or Account Executive on a regular basisReview and prepare renewal proposals for clientsCoordinate renewal confirmation materials and open enrollment packets for clients, including required carrier documents and customized client employee communication materialsOversee the submission of group applications to insurance carriers and assist with the implementation process of client's policiesAct as client's liaison to other service departments within our benefits divisionMonitor and manage voicemail, incoming mailboxes, outlook, and activities in accordance with agency service standardsAttend and participate in department meetings, team meetings, and training sessions as requiredFacilitate plan document creation or amendments using internal or external resourcesDocument client renewal decisions, plans and final rates in the agency management systemRequirementsTo be considered for the Account Manager position, you should have:1-2 years of Employee Group Benefit experience: Preferred2-3 years customer service experienceAssociates or Bachelor's Degree (preferred)Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailOrganization skillsLike to solve problemsAble to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyWhat's in it for you?A team-based approach to client managementFull benefits package11 paid holidays including your birthday!Competitive SalaryProfit sharing (after a year of service)Bonus potentialA caring workplace culture that has something for everyoneHave you got what it takes to join our winning team?
