About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Controller to take ownership of and optimize all aspects of its accounting operations. This leadership role is pivotal in managing a team of accounting professionals, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, and maintaining compliance with US GAAP standards and relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for internal controls, process improvement, and will play a key role in audit and board support. Cross-functional collaboration and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment are essential. The role demands a strategic thinker with a strong sense of urgency, who can navigate across functions to solve business challenges and is committed to the company's core values of innovation, customer centricity, and driving results. Applicants for the Vice President, Controller position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience and a CPA certification. A background in logistics or a related industry, as well as experience with multiple legal entities and private equity, is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong analytical, data-driven decision-making approach, excellent systems and process orientation, and the ability to manage complexity across programs and vendors. Effective communication, influence, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to execution are key skills for this position.
