Job Overview: Job Id: L-DENT-49401 Profession: Dentistry Specialty: Dentistry - General Dentistry Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Fortuna & Eureka, CA Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5p Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

Patient Information: Patient Demographics: 50% adults, 50% pediatric Patient Volume: 16-18 patients per day

Facility Information: EMR System: Epic Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: No Credentialing Timeline: 30-60 days

Job Requirements

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible Licenses: Licensed in CA DEA: Yes – Active DEA required before start Certifications: BLS

Duties & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive dental examinations and treatment planning for both pediatric and adult patients. Perform routine restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, and bridges. Conduct oral surgery procedures such as extractions as needed. Manage a 50/50 mix of pediatric and adult cases during weekday clinic hours. Ensure accurate and timely chart closure within 72 hours of patient encounters.
