GLOBAL PROJECTS ENERGY & INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY COUNSEL

Location: New York, NY or Washington, D.C. | Schedule: Full-time, hybrid | Compensation: $270,000 – $455,000, commensurate with experience Overview A leading international law firm is seeking an Associate to Counsel-level attorney to join its Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Finance practice in New York or Washington, D.C. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded, market-leading group advising on complex, high-profile project finance and infrastructure transactions across the energy, natural resources, and private capital sectors. What you'll do Advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers on project finance and infrastructure transactions Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary financing documentation Support transactions across the energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors, including renewables Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale domestic and international matters Manage transactional workflows from diligence through closing Required qualifications JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in New York or Washington, D.C., in good standing 2+ years of substantive experience in finance-related transactional work Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex transactions in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage client relationships with ease Preferred qualifications Experience in project finance, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and/or private equity transactions strongly preferred Exposure to domestic and cross-border financings, including acquisition and development financings Prior experience at a top-tier U.S. or international law firm preferred Compensation and benefits Highly competitive salary: $270,000 – $455,000, commensurate with experience Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) plan Paid maternal and paternal leave Generous vacation and sick time Emergency childcare Commuter benefits Corporate discounts Multiple employee wellness programs Why this role This role offers the opportunity to join a globally recognized Projects & Infrastructure team that consistently works on landmark financings and market-shaping transactions, with exposure to sophisticated matters, industry-leading clients, and a collaborative culture emphasizing professional growth and mentorship. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
