LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Southfield, MI to identify an experienced Payroll Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organization where you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a large employee population.

Key Qualifications:

✅ 3+ years of payroll processing experience
✅ Experience processing high-volume payroll
✅ Union payroll experience is required
✅ Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
✅ Experience with payroll systems and reporting
✅ High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Process large-volume payroll accurately and efficiently
• Manage union payroll requirements, deductions, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Review payroll data, audit reports, and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain payroll records and employee payroll documentation
• Partner with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters
