Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at VITAS, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that reflect the goals and challenges of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus at VITAS is on serving stable, low-acuity adults who present with a wide range of mental health concerns. This includes anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Active, unrestricted license to practice independently in New York as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• No limited or provisional licenses and no active disciplinary actions against your license.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine empathy toward clients and their diverse needs.
\n
• Proficient in using technology and digital tools for virtual therapy sessions and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with a diverse clientele and familiarity with teletherapy platforms is preferred. Candidates who have previously developed successful therapeutic interventions or demonstrated outcomes in client recovery are especially encouraged to apply.
