As an IT Manager, Epic Professional Billing you'll have the opportunity to use your Epic billing expertise to help improve how health care is delivered. In this role, you'll lead Epic Professional Billing service delivery, collaborate with clients and internal teams, support and develop team members, and help create practical solutions that improve performance, strengthen relationships, and make a meaningful difference for the people we serve.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day service delivery for Epic Professional Billing, including incidents, requests, enhancements, and project workServe as the main escalation point and partner with internal and client stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain strong performanceManage, coach, and develop team members while supporting performance, staffing, and career growthCollaborate with leadership and project teams on planning, prioritization, roadmaps, and best practicesSupport client success by aligning resources, communicating operational updates, and driving continuous improvementParticipate in internal initiatives such as interviewing candidates and sharing best practices across teamsSupport business development efforts through solution design and client engagementIdentify opportunities for optimization, application rationalization, and improved client outcomesProvide status updates and reporting as neededYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Epic Certification in Professional Billing and/or Resolute Hospital Billing5+ years of experience supporting healthcare providers and/or organizations5+ years of experience leading and executing on complex IT managed services delivery5+ years of experience with end-to-end experiences delivering both software applications and technology platforms5+ years of experience successfully implementing and supporting highly scalable technology solutions for clients2+ years of technology leadership experience2+ years of direct leadership of team(s)Experience working in fast paced, dynamic environmentProven ability to collaborate with internal (IT) and external (operational) cross functional groupsDemonstrated success building relationships and accomplishing common goals for clientsPreferred Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS or related field or equivalent experience in healthcare ITExperience with application delivery of EHR and integration with downstream systemsExperience in leading a teamExperience influencing, problem solving and negotiation skillsProven solid written and verbal communication skills, with customer service focus*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
