Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our 12 Tower unit, which houses a diverse patient population. This role involves providing quality care to patients, performing assessments, and maintaining a safe and responsive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessments and provide general care.
• Manage wounds, tracheostomy, ostomy, drains, and chest tubes.
• Monitor patients for signs of strokes and seizures.
• Administer dialysis and PCA pumps as required.
• Cary out post-operative procedures including care for amputations, drains, chest tubes, and wound vacs.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and maintain safety checks every 1-2 hours.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with PD cyclers and medication scanning, including controlled substances.
