Maintain employee records, HR documentation, job descriptions, forms, and departmental files while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Recruitment and Onboarding:

Assist with recruitment coordination, candidate communication, pre-employment screening, new-hire onboarding, and required documentation. Employee Support:

Respond to routine employee questions, coordinate employee forms and acknowledgments, and help keep employees informed of important HR updates. Performance Management:

Track performance review deadlines, maintain records, and follow up with employees and managers to ensure reviews are completed on time. Benefits and Payroll Support:

Assist with benefit invoice reconciliation, cross-selling incentive tracking, and backup payroll responsibilities. Training and Development:

Help maintain onboarding and training resources, update employee materials in Paylocity, and create presentations. Employee Engagement:

Coordinate employee recognition, anniversaries, gifts, the monthly Employee Spotlight, and employee events. Special Projects and Team Support:

Maintain procedures, assist with career fairs and wellness events, and provide additional departmental support as needed. Requirements What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred. 1–2 years of administrative experience; HR experience is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. A self-motivated individual who takes initiative, works independently, and follows assignments through to completion. Someone who stays on top of deadlines, follows up when needed, and ensures tasks are completed in a timely manner. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees, candidates, and management. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Paylocity experience is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Why Join ECU?
