Experienced Service Advisor

Service Advisor Position Johnson City Acura/Mazda is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients. As a key member of our dealership team, the Service Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive service needs, maintaining customer satisfaction, and promoting service sales. Compensation & Benefits: Salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year, paid biweekly Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Employee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts, and service Ongoing training and development opportunities Responsibilities: Greet customers and schedule service appointments in a friendly and professional manner Listen to and understand customer's automotive concerns and accurately document information Clearly explain service recommendations and any necessary repairs to customers Accurately estimate repair costs for customers and obtain necessary approvals Communicate with technicians and ensure timely completion of service work Keep customers informed of any delays or changes to service timelines Conduct follow-up calls and emails to ensure customer satisfaction Promote additional service sales and upsell maintenance packages to customers Handle customer inquiries and complaints with tact and professionalism Maintain a clean and organized service area Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures Meet and exceed customer satisfaction and sales goals Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, some post-secondary education preferred Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership Proficient computer and technology skills Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Outstanding organizational and time management skills Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs, with ASE certification preferred Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Must be available to work weekends and some evenings as needed EEOC Statement: Johnson City Acura/Mazda is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
