Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs.

• Facilitate individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions using telehealth platforms.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that outline specific therapeutic goals and approaches, adjusting as necessary based on client progress.

• Provide ongoing support and interventions to assist clients in managing behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including session notes and treatment updates, to keep track of client progress and compliance with state regulations.

• Engage in regular supervision and collaborative meetings with colleagues to enhance treatment approaches and share insights.

• Educate clients on mental health topics and coping strategies to enhance their self-efficacy and promote lasting change.

• Stay informed on current developments in counseling practices and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Archway Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse array of clients who may be dealing with various issues including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. You will serve individuals from different age groups and backgrounds, providing culturally sensitive care tailored to their unique life experiences. Your commitment to establishing strong therapeutic relationships will be paramount in creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• A valid and current New Jersey state license as a Professional Counselor.

• At least two years of experience in providing clinical counseling services to a varied client population.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience in a counseling role is required, candidates with additional experience in telehealth services or therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will be greatly valued. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems or telehealth platforms will also be seen as a plus in managing client communications and clinical documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Archway Counseling Center offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
