Maintenance Technician

Location: Enfield, CT
Pay: $24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Property: 75-unit apartment community

Position Summary

Seeking a  Maintenance Technician to support the daily maintenance and upkeep of a 75-unit apartment community. The position will focus on  apartment turnovers, work orders, repairs, and general property cleaning and upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turnovers and prepare vacant units for move-in.
• Respond to and complete resident maintenance requests and work orders.
• Diagnose and perform basic repairs involving:
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • HVAC
  • Appliances
  • Carpentry
  • Painting
  • Hardware
  • Masonry
• Maintain grounds, curb appeal, landscaping, and trash areas.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Participate in scheduled on-call/emergency maintenance as needed.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and/or carpentry.
• Basic computer/tablet skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
